Uno Future
Team ‘Uno Future’ have created ‘Uno’.
Uno is a simple way for businesses and people to come to together making what they are already doing much easier!
Uno uses Near Field Communication (NFC) which is already in more than 60% of mobile phones in Australia to collect data from events and transactions it organised. Uno’s data is displayed in a dashboard that provides insights for Government, Local Councils and Business Owners so they can make better, more informed decisions.

Uno currently uses four Local Council datasets on ‘Outdoor Dining’, ‘UPark Available Spaces’, ‘Bike Racks’ and ‘Events’ and also national ABN Extract data. These datasets have been chosen as the best fit for our Hack. Team Uno Future envisage using new and wider datasets to be able to list more businesses and relate more services to make a wider reaching and more valuable system.
Description of Use We have used this dataset to recommend events close by to locations where users have made bookings and appointments.
Description of Use We have used this dataset to recommend bike racks close by to locations where users have made bookings and appointments.
Description of Use We have used this dataset to recommend available parking spaces close by to locations where users have made bookings and appointments.
Description of Use We have used this csv data with locations offering outdoor dining to create an interactive Google Map where people can select a place they would like to make a booking.
Description of Use We have used ABN data to verify business listings/registrations made by Councils and/or business owners. Portions of a new business listing can be pre-filled out after verifying ownership of an ABN. Postcodes associated with an ABN can also be used to find the closest available vacant parking spaces we have access to in other data.
