Our project "SchoolBud", a chatbot made using Dialogflow, solves the given problem by the Education and Training department of the Government of Victoria state.
Our chatbot allows parents to easily look up schools for their ward and answers all their queries about the overwhelming enrolment process while relieving the intake pressure faced by the schools in Victoria.
We have focused our project around the Smith's family, who live in Bairnsdale, Victoria 3875.
They are family of four, who have recently moved to Bairnsdale and are exploring options to get their kids enroled in good neighborhood school.
They are considering Lindenow Primary school, which lies in their zone , also Briaglong Primary school and Bairnsdale Primary school, these two lie outside their zone.
They need help in deciding the school, for which they want to know the policies associated with the enrolment process.And they are having a hard time figuring out the policies because the ones mentioned on education.vic.gov.au are very elaborate and difficult to comprehend.
