Project Description

CoDirect is a project to search the information in the NZ Companies Office directors & shareholders information as a social network. It enables voters to search for the commercial interests of politicians.

Data Story

The NZ Companies Office API is a great source of company directors & shareholders information. But in order to see all business connections between 2 people, we need more than that. We need to be able to explore the business relationships between parties and find common interests. As an example, CoDirect lets voters search for the business interests of candidates in the local and national elections.
