Data Story

According to a study by the Behavioural Insights team when it comes to choosing careers young people often find career information difficult to evaluate and difficult to contextualise because data on the internet is so vast and dispersed across multiple sites.

This contributes to young people switching off from using the full range of information available to make decisions about their future.

They may end up making uninformed decisions, choosing any degree with no real insight about potential career opportunities.

We aim to bring both government and industry data in a user friendly and visually appealing way to help them envision their own career paths based on the current trends in the industry.
