The NTG is building a traditional open data portal, but how can it be used to its fullest potential? It is thought that new engagement methods will help public users understand the data creator’s/supplier’s and NTG’s thoughts around campaigns, initiatives, and projects and where the open data fits in and can be utilised.
Design new engagement methods for open data portal users, to pitch to NTG Office of Digital Government (ODG). The engagement methods should do something new, innovative, or never-been-done-before to connect to, use or interact with open data. This could be a new UI, new visualisations, AR/VR/XR, an interactive AI bot for the NT perhaps! Anything is possible.
